STE NIVAYON SARL — Centre de Beauté et de Compétences Professionnelles (Logpom, Douala, Cameroon) is committed to protecting the personal data of its students and website visitors, in accordance with the data-protection principles applicable in Cameroon, notably Law No. 2010/012 of 21 December 2010 on cybersecurity and cybercriminality, Law No. 2010/013 governing electronic communications, and Law No. 2011/012 on consumer protection.
1. Data we collect
In connection with enrollments and use of the platform, we collect: identity and contact details (name, phone, email, address and, for the enrollment contract, national ID number), account and learning data (programs, progress, quiz results, certificates), and payment data (amounts, dates, method used — we never store full banking details).
2. How we use data
Your data is used solely for administrative and educational purposes related to your training: managing your enrollment and access, issuing official payment receipts and certificates, tracking your progress, communicating with you (including via WhatsApp, SMS or email — the official channels provided in the contract) and improving our services.
3. Photographs and student work
In accordance with the enrollment contract, the academy may photograph or film training sessions and student work for educational and documentation purposes, and may publish them on its social media with credit to the student. Any student may refuse such publication by notifying the academy in writing at enrollment.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. It is shared only with the technical providers strictly necessary to run the service (website and database hosting, email delivery, video playback), who are bound by confidentiality.
5. Retention and security
Your information is stored securely and accessible only to authorized academy staff. Records of enrollments, attendance, payments and communications are kept in accordance with the enrollment contract and applicable legal and accounting obligations.
6. Cookies
The platform only uses cookies necessary for authentication and proper operation of the site (login session, language preference). No advertising cookies are used.
7. Your rights
You may access your data, correct it from your profile, or request rectification or deletion by contacting us. We respond in writing as promptly as possible.
